Introducing MFW’s new charity sponsorship initiative

IndyCar, IndyCar commentary — By on August 20, 2013 10:19 am

Here’s the good news: More Front Wing has received sponsorship, and we can now officially announce that we’ll be providing on the ground, top-to-bottom coverage of three of the IZOD IndyCar Series race weekends remaining in 2013: the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma, the Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston, and the MAVTV 500 at Auto Club Speedway.

Here’s the great news: rather than have a business name associated with the program, our sponsor has asked us to dedicate each of these three weekends to raising funds for a different Indianapolis-area charity. We are beyond excited to be involved in this initiative and hope our work can help to raise awareness and donations for these three wonderful organizations so that they can be well-equipped to do their work.

For the first weekend of the program, the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma, we will be supporting the Indianapolis chapter of Greyhound Pets of America. GPA-Indy is a non-profit organization that assists in finding loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. On all of our posts relating to this race weekend, you’ll see this banner:

If you enjoy our coverage of the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma, please consider clicking on the banner, which will take you to the GPA-Indy website where you can easily make a donation in any amount you choose.

Greyhound Pets of America — Indianapolis can be found at their website, www.gpaindy.org, and on Facebook.

We would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word about this initiative as we carry it through the remainder of the 2013 IZOD IndyCar Series season. We can’t wait to get started this Friday with live coverage of the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma all weekend long right here at MoreFrontWing.com!
