And no talk with Robin Miller is complete without unfiltered and unedited rants about the owners, drivers, who is really to blame for blocking in today’s racing, and of course Brian Barnhart.
We were also pleased to be joined by 2005 Indianapolis 500 and IZOD IndyCar Series champion Dan Wheldon to discuss his expectations for the Month of May with Bryan Herta Autosport and what it has been like for him to be on the sidelines thus far during the 2011 season.

Always nice to hear what you guys have to say. It was a shame the weather didn’t help at all sunday. The fans were so disappointed… I know I was. Fortunately I could stay one more in Sao Paulo to see the race.
About the open gates on monday, when people heard about the free entry, most of them started whinning about it, saying it was unfair to those who paid for the tickets, etc. Of course, money has something to do with it, but IMO, the real reason for that it’s because people can be very selfish around here. Simple as that.
Anyway, you could still watch the race for free. All you needed was a good poker face and say that you lost the ticket the day before. That’s it. LOL!

Robin’s assertion that the Owners are not going to pay for R&D is ludicrous. Where does he get that?
When does the customer NOT pay for everything that goes into production. Do you guys think they’re just going to throw that profit away?
The Owners will darn sure pay for every penny spent. There is not a company in the world that won’t figure their R&D expenses into the cost.
You guys haven’t even mentioned the tooling expenses that will have to be covered.

AJ Foyt is telling Robin he wants more information. How is it that AJ doesn’t have enough information to make a decision and YOU DO?
I’ll trust AJ on this.
Why not interview Sarah Fisher or Eric Bachelart about it before just blindly accepting Robin’s HEAVILY biased information?
