We’re thrilled to announce that our auction for Justin Wilson’s signed gloves has ended with a bid of just over $200 US. We’re very excited that the proceeds of that auction will go directly to the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana. Many thanks to Ben Chastain of Indianapolis for his generous winning bid — the gloves will be in your hands very shortly.

But if you missed out, don’t be sad — we still have one more auction up for grabs!

Justin Wilson, being the insanely kind and generous guy that he is, has also donated a pair of his own racing boots — size 12! — which he wore himself for a number of races during the 2013 IZOD IndyCar Series season. The auction is now active and can be accessed using the link under the banner on this page. It ends next Tuesday afternoon, October 1st, so please keep checking back over the coming days to see how the auction is unfolding.

As we’ve mentioned, the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana has been for more than a quarter of a century the proven source for tutoring and support that enables individuals with dyslexia to overcome their unanticipated inability to read. Justin was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 13 and has been very generous in his support of people and organizations battling the same challenges that he faced growing up. We’re very grateful to have had his support as we continue to raise funds for DII from now through to the conclusion of the Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston weekend.

There are other ways to help us reach our goal. On everything we do relating to the Houston race — including on-the-ground coverage by MFW co-editor Steph Wallcraft and contributor John Lingle all weekend long — you’ll see the banner above. If you enjoy our coverage as it unfolds, we would be very grateful if you could click on the banner to visit DII’s website, diin.org, and make a donation.

We hope you’ll bid generously and help us raise donations for DII now and throughout the coming weeks. Thank you for your support of the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana and of MoreFrontWing.com!
