Cutters Race Team (CuttersRT) today announced its unique, fan-funded sponsorship support effort for “The People’s Race Car” will end following qualifications on Saturday, May 17. Until then, CuttersRT will continue to seek additional sponsors for the IndyCar entry, which will participate in “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” on Sunday, May 25 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“We are thankful for all of our early supporters,” Travis Tetrault, co-founder of CuttersRT said. “We’ve still got room on the IndyCar for more sponsors, but our efforts to crowd-fund are winding down. It’s definitely not too late to join the movement.”

CuttersRT began its crowd-funding program by asking fans to purchase a sponsorship package for $100. The program has successfully raised capital to accompany corporate support a SFHR entry.

Various support packages are still available at www.cuttersrt.com, each with different options for prizes and opportunities to participate in numerous trackside events before the race.
