What a year 2012 was and what a year 2013 is shaping up to be.

I want to thank you for your support of Texas Motor Speedway. We are proud to be your home track and look forward to spending the 2013 season creating experiences in motorsports that can only be found at “The Great American Speedway!”

We have spent most of 2012 evaluating feedback and learning from our fans. From listening to our Fan Council to extensive surveys of current and past customers, we have created policies that will make it easier to attend racing events at Texas Motor Speedway. Today we introduce a fan-fueled evolution, a series of initiatives we are undertaking that will transform your race experience.

  • Child-priced ticket for every seat in our grandstands.
For children ages 12 and under, effective immediately and throughout the facility, including all Season Tickets.
  • Lowered Pricing on Adult Frontstretch Tickets
Adult tickets now begin at $49, lowered from $86.
  • Non-Smoking Grandstands
Beginning in April at the Texas 500 Weekend, the main grandstand area will be smoke free. We have identified designated smoking locations throughout the concourse.
  • New Rainout Policy
Those who cannot attend a rescheduled event will have the opportunity to exchange their ticket for a future event up to one calendar year later for the same or lesser priced ticket.
  • Upgraded Backstretch Seating Experience
We have added a 17’x 27’ Jumbotron dedicated for fans seated on the backstretch plus an upgraded sound delivery system.
  • Fan-Friendly Hotel Listings
Providing you with information on area hotels, highlighting those that pledge not to increase their prices by more than 10% at race time and no minimum stays.
  • Flexible Payment Plans
Fans will now be able to contact the Texas Motor Speedway ticket office and arrange for a payment plan to purchase individual tickets that suits their economic needs.
  • More Premium Seat Options Available
For the first time, individual chairback seats are available to accommodate fans who seek premium seating.
  • Upgraded Tram Service, Golf Cart Assistance and Parking Experience
  • “Code of Conduct” Text Response System

Complete details on these initiatives and more can be found by visiting TexasMotorSpeedway.com/evolution or by calling the Texas Motor Speedway Ticket office at (817) 215-8500.

Thank you again for your support of Texas Motor Speedway. I look forward to seeing you in your seat as the green flag flies at the NASCAR doubleheader weekend, April 11-13, to kick off yet another No Limits Wild Asphalt Circus.

Eddie Gossage
President
