Sonoma: Bash’s preview

If it’s foggy, the baseball season is intensifying, and my chronic back issues are flaring up, then it must be time for Sonoma, where ya gotta climb for the best views!

I’ll be on site at Infineon Raceway from Friday through Sunday and keeping an eye on the fallout from the Loudon protest and denial, Danica’s NASCAR announcement, and Will Power’s fine for flying angry birds at Race Control. Oh, and there’s a bit of a championship race going on, too, with the points having tightened up after Loudon. Will Firestone deliver the great alternate tires that made Snore-noma less snoozy last year? Can Will Power defend his Infineon title and keep pressure on points leader Dario Franchitti? How will local hero JR Hildebrand fare at his home track?
