For the first time in years, both Paul and Steph are covering the same IndyCar race on the ground this weekend in Toronto, so we took the opportunity to enjoy a barbecued dinner on Steph’s condo building’s rooftop patio on the city’s waterfront. We got the podcast under way while watching the sun set behind the Toronto skyline as sailboats glided across the lake.
The result was a very candid show, just two friends having a great time chatting about IndyCar racing. We talked about IndyCar’s triumphant return to Pocono and broke down a number of the stories that came out of the race, such as Ganassi’s dominant result, Marco’s heartbreak, TK’s expensive mistake, and much more.
We also reviewed what we’ve noticed on the ground thus far in Toronto and previewed the weekend’s two races, the first of which will feature the first-ever standing start in the IZOD IndyCar Series, which has the paddock very much abuzz.

Good show. I thoroughly enjoyed Pickled Paul and Stewed Steph. Only wish I could have been listening to the show while halfway through my own 4th beer (damn household chores keep me from drinking during most podcast listening sessions). Anyway, great stuff.
