In the midst of the celebration leading up to the legendary Indianapolis 500, the must-attend event of the weekend returns on Thursday, May 23, 2013. The 3rd annual Yellow Party, presented by DHL, is an IndyCar-focused, fundraising event aimed at raising awareness and donations for the fight against cancer.

Hosted by 2012 IndyCar Champion Ryan Hunter-Reay and wife Beccy, and benefiting the non-profit organization Racing For Cancer, The Yellow Party will take place at The Crane Bay in downtown Indianapolis.

Presented by DHL, the evening will offer a variety of unique features, including driver meet-and-greets with some of the sport’s hottest drivers. Attendees will also experience “The Greatest Spectacle in Silent Auctions.” Great food, special surprises and live performance by the multi-platinum band +LIVE+ will make the event unforgettable for those in attendance. VIP ticket holders will also get to ride in the Indy Racing Experience two-seater through the streets of downtown Indianapolis.

Two ticket levels are available to choose from. From now until the green flag drops at next week’s IndyCar race in Brazil, guests who have attended The Yellow Party in the past will receive an extra discount. Simply check the “returning guest” option at checkout.

The global leader in international mail and logistics solutions, DHL has come on board as the Platinum Title Sponsor of the event. Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Insituform Technologies, LLC, and the Michael Fux Foundation have also signed on as Gold sponsors for the event. Other sponsorships are still available for corporations looking to support the global fight against cancer.

“Being an IndyCar-focused event automatically guarantees a thrilling experience for everyone involved,” said Tom Vossman, Racing For Cancer Co-Founder. “But being able to do this as a way to strengthen the fight against cancer makes it something incredible and very rewarding for everyone. We’re extremely grateful to everyone who has already joined in support of this event, and we look forward to achieving our goal of continuing to make The Yellow Party one of the biggest off-track fundraising events every year in May.”
