Help launch our podcast season and WIN!
IndyCar, IndyCar commentary — By More Front Wing Staff on March 18, 2013 9:15 amFinally, the long off-season is coming to an end. As the IZOD IndyCar Series head to St. Petersburg, More Front Wing’s podcast season also gets started this week with our St. Pete preview podcast this Thursday!
To celebrate we decided to give something away, and we’ve found something very special: a limited edition Alex Tagliani diecast — so exclusive they haven’t even been released yet to the general public — and ours will come to you autographed by the man himself!

This exciting contest prize is courtesy of our friends at Toronto Motorsports, a shop that specializes in racing memorabilia. They will be the only retailer to carry these die-casts when they become available, so if you don’t win ours be sure to contact them to pre-order your own.

Here’s how to win it: Send a question for us to answer on our season preview podcast. We’re happy to receive it in the comments section below, via Twitter @MoreFrontWing, on our Facebook page, or via email at feedback@morefrontwing.com.
Here’s the catch: the contest closes when our Twitter page receives 3,000 followers (or Wednesday at 5 PM ET, whichever comes first). So, be sure to tweet it, retweet it, and tell your friends — the faster the contest closes, the fewer entries we’ll have and the higher your chances of winning!
Only one entry per person, please. We’ll answer as many questions in the show as we can, but we may not be able to accommodate all submissions. The winner will receive the autographed diecast as soon as possible after it becomes available, which is currently estimated to be in June.
We’ll announce the results in the post announcing our podcast on this Thursday morning, March 21st. Best of luck!
Where do you see the engine battle going in 2013? With the “approved change” for Honda before Indianapolis, are there other changes that may occur in the powerplants?
What are your thoughts on the BCG’s suggestions of the 3-race playoff and utilizing the IMS road course?
What do you find most challenging about the St. Pete circuit?
If that question is taken, boxers or briefs? 😉
With 5 cars entered for the Indy 500, do you think Andretti Autosport is spreading itself too thin?
Do you think that at some point in the future the engines could make a switch to pneumatic valve springs?
It’s impressive how high the Chevy and Honda engines can push the RPM’s, but the only concievable way to create more power without raising the turbo’s boost is to make that switch to pneumatic valves which would allow the engines to raise the RPMs to 12,000+.
It would make the cars more responsive, more reliable, give the drivers the power they’ve been asking for, and change the sound of the engine to be more aggressive.
What are your thoughts on the lengthened races and the option to start with less than a full fuel load? Will either actually have an impact on the racing?
Do you think Simona will win a race this year with being in a chevy this year?
Question for all, heart vs head, who do you want to win the championship? Who will win the championship?
With the schedule being even more road/street course heavy with the double headers this year, can Will Power finally close out a championship?
With Dragon’s poor showing at the test, should we expect another long season for Jay Penske’s squad? And if so, will Bourdais look to change his scenery at the end of the season (or earlier)?
Would you rather see a first time winner at the Indy 500 this year or the next 4 time winner?
