A Smaller View chronicles the adventures of a nine-year-old girl as she takes advantage of the new junior credential program at IMS. Our junior blogger will submit reports on her experiences throughout the Month of May. We’re pleased to have the opportunity to present a view of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway through the eyes of the next generation!

Hi! I am a nine-year-old girl, and I love racing!

(But my main game is softball.  Last year, my team went to the national tournament in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and we swept the series undefeated!)

Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to report here on my adventures into Gasoline Alley at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This is the first time kids my age have been allowed into the garages, and I am going to give you my thoughts on everything.

I have been to Community Day and Pole Day before.  I even met Danica Patrick once, and she signed my shirt.

I will let you know what happens when I get to Gasoline Alley and what I think about the cars and the drivers.  I’ll record sounds and voices.  That way, you can sort of experience it, too — from the kid’s eye view!

I will always try my hardest, and I will never let you down!
