Will Power wins 2014 Verizon IndyCar Series championship; Kanaan wins MAVTV500
[INDYCAR PR] Will Power earned his first Verizon IndyCar Series championship with a ninth-place finish in the MAVTV 500 at Auto Club Speedway. Tony Kanaan, the 2004 series champion, won the 250-lap race by 3.6750 seconds over Target Chip Ganassi Racing teammate and 2013 champion Scott Dixon.
Power wins pole and sets new track record at GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma
[INDYCAR PR] Verizon IndyCar Series championship points leader Will Power claimed his second consecutive Verizon P1 Award, and fourth of the season, with a lap of 1 minute, 17.4126 seconds in Firestone Fast Six qualifications for the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma.
